Hope Extreme is a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to bringing lasting hope to the East Houma community through holistic, revitalizing, and life-changing programs. Since our beginning in 2007, we have worked to meet the educational, physical, and emotional needs of children, teens, and families who are often overlooked and under-resourced — and in doing so, we have seen lives truly transformed.

Through powerful programs like After School and Summer Education, Hope Fridges, Hope Showers, Momentum Teens, and Hope Serves, thousands in our community have experienced dignity restored, needs met, and hope renewed. But we believe the best is still ahead.

Our Vision for 2026

 

As we step into 2026, we are expanding our impact in bold and intentional ways:

​

• Next-Level Student Development
We are growing our Signature After School Program to include immersive workshops for high school students, focusing on college and career readiness, ACT prep, robotics, financial literacy, leadership, and life skills — helping students dream bigger and go further.

• Hope Park & Gardens Expansion
We are continuing to develop Hope Park and Gardens as a safe, creative, and life-giving space where families can gather, play, grow food, and experience community.

​

• Greater Access Through Hope Showers
We are increasing availability and outreach through Hope Showers, ensuring more individuals can experience dignity, cleanliness, and care.

​

• Ongoing Hurricane Recovery Through Hope Serves
We are expanding Hope Serves to continue meeting the needs of families affected by Hurricane Ida through trash pickup days, home repairs, and volunteer teams serving our neighborhood.

​

• Property & Facility Growth
We are believing for expanded facilities — whether at our current location or through new property — to better serve the growing needs of East Houma.
